He is expected to return in March.

DDT Pro-Wrestling pushed out the news that Kazuma Sumi is sidelined with a partially torn MCL in his left knee. Sumi was off DDT’s 2/23 and 2/25 shows with a left knee injury that has since been formally diagnosed.

As of this writing, Sumi is scheduled to return to the ring at DDT’s Korakuen Hall show on March 17th.

The 20-year-old began his in-ring career in 2022 under the DDT umbrella. His most recent match was on February 18th when he had a singles match against Toru Owashi.

In 2023, Sumi partook in the All Star Junior Festival in Japan and made his NJPW debut during their Destruction tour
