Triple H, The Miz and CM Punk were Rhea Ripley’s favorite wrestlers growing up.

While in her home country of Australia for Elimination Chamber, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley sat down with the BWGS Pod

As the conversation rolled on, Ripley stated that she’d like to wrestle CM Punk. That comment stemmed from Ripley being asked the question of which wrestler would she like to share the ring with during their prime. She named Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, The Miz and Punk as her favorites growing up.

So my three favorites growing up were Triple H, which is wild because he’s my boss. The other one was The Miz. I absolutely love The Miz and the third one was CM Punk. So, I don’t know (which one of them I’d wrestle in their prime). It’s hard because they’ve all had such amazing careers and they’ve had such amazing milestones. For me, I feel like I still have so much to go. I feel like right now, I’m at a very good moment. My momentum’s growing and we’re just getting bigger and bigger but I feel like I still haven’t reached what they were able to reach. So it’s wild to think that I could possibly accomplish things that they accomplished and if I were to step in the ring with them… You remember seeing Triple H back in the day? Exactly (he was in great shape). I would like to face Punk (Ripley said after it was mentioned that the match is still a possibility). Especially with the way that he did his promos and the way that he just did everything. It was always entertaining and I feel like if I were to step into a storyline with any of the three, I would learn so much and it would definitely help skyrocket Rhea Ripley to the next level sort of thing.

In December 2022, Ripley competed in a match against a member of the men’s division in Akira Tozawa and she defeated him

Ripley is gearing up for WrestleMania 40 where she’ll be defending her title against Becky Lynch.
