Seven states that he’s in contact with Dunne and Bate on the daily.

At WWE Elimination Chamber, the duo of Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne challenged The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor & Damian Priest) for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. Dunne and Bate were unsuccessful in their attempt to become champions but they still have their sights set on winning the belts.

Bate and Dunne’s history as a team dates all the way back to nearly a decade ago when British Strong Style was formed along with Trent Seven.

Seven told Cultaholic he is glad to see Pete and Tyler tagging on WWE’s main roster. He added that he talks to them every day and wants to see his friends happy.

Yeah (I’m still in contact with Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne). I think sometimes people forget we were friends and tag team partners and a team long before WWE. We live in a circle in around about 13 miles away from each other, as a little triangulated thing. So, I think sometimes it’s a little bit hard — it was always a little bit hard for the American side of things in WWE to even comprehend that-that exists, that we were actually — we lived 15 miles away from each other, triangulated and we genuinely do go around each other’s house all the time. We travel together and it wasn’t just some kind of thing like flash in the pan and I talk to the boys every day. Obviously, what they’re doing alone is incredible… Everything kind of seems to come back to that nice little reset. Pete is Pete Dunne, The Bruiserweight is The Bruiserweight. Tyler Bate is Tyler Bate, and yeah, you watch them, they’re out there on pay-per-view in Perth wrestling against The Judgment Day and just tearing it up, having incredible matches. The look on their faces is the one, that’s what you wanna be — that’s the kind of look you wanna see on your friends’ faces when they’re performing on a level. So yeah, they’re just absolutely smashing it and it feels like the world of tag team wrestling and the world of British Strong Style and kind of that world of that independent kind of era, all is well and good.

Seven is currently tagging with ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey in TNA. He is under contract to the company. Seven wrapped up with WWE in the summer of 2022 as the NXT U.K. brand went on hiatus

On the March 1st SmackDown, Bate and Dunne approached General Manager Nick Aldis about the Tag Titles and Aldis said him and Raw G.M. Adam Pearce have an announcement to make regarding both sets of titles that Judgment Day are in possession of.
