A title fight and an appearance from two of Revolution’s headliners have joined AEW Dynamite’s season premiere this evening.

The Young Bucks — Matthew and Nicholas Jackson — have revealed that they will make a “huge announcement” on tonight’s episode of Dynamite from Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia, USA.

The Young Bucks are coming off a main event defeat from Sunday, dropping the AEW Tag Team Championships in Sting’s last match. Wednesday could mark the second-ever storyline from the Jackson brothers since they debuted their EVP personas this year.

Also on the card, Hook will be putting his FTW Championship on the line against Brian Cage. The match will mark Hook’s first FTW title match this year. He last put the title up in late 2023, overcoming Wheeler Yuta at Worlds End.

Cage is being booked for the title opportunity after competing in the “All-Star 8-Man Scramble” at Revolution, which also featured Hook. Cage notably held the title for more than a year beginning in 2021, eventually dropping the title to Ricky Starks on a July 2022 episode of Dynamite.

Here’s everything that has been confirmed for tonight’s show thus far:

  • Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher
  • Kris Statlander vs. Riho
  • The Young Bucks make an announcement
  • Hook vs. Brian Cage for FTW Championship
