Changes made to six-man tag at TNA Sacrifice

Multiple talents swapped in and out of the match.

It had been made official that TNA X Division Champion Mustafa Ali would be tagging with The Good Hands (Jason Hotch & John Skyler) at TNA Sacrifice to take on Chris Sabin, KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight.

Coming out of the 3/7 TNA iMPACT, changes were made to both teams. In the show opener, Ali went one-on-one with Knight. Sabin and KUSHIDA joined the fray to fight off The Good Hands. After Ali picked up the win, Knight was held down and Ali did a 450 splash onto his arm.

Making his way to the ring to run off Ali, Skyler and Hotch was Alex Shelley. Knight was not cleared to compete, so Shelley stepped in and joined the team. He made a passive aggressive comment towards KUSHIDA and Shelley about being there for your friends when they need you, referencing events from TNA No Surrender.

Later in the show, Hotch and Skyler fell in defeat to Shelley and KUSHIDA so Mustafa Ali opted to swap them out of the tag match and taking their place is Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake).

As of this writing, here’s the updated Sacrifice lineup:

  • TNA World Championship: Moose (c) vs. Eric Young
  • Nic Nemeth vs. Steve Maclin
  • Josh Alexander vs. Alex Hammerstone
  • TNA Knockouts World Championship — Three-Way: Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Tasha Steelz vs. Xia Brookside
  • Mustafa Ali & Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) vs. Time Machine (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA)
  • TNA World Tag Team Championships: ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) (c) vs. The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) (w/ Alisha Edwards)
  • No Disqualification Match: PCO vs. Kon
  • TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships: M.K. Ultra (Killer Kelly & Masha Slamovich) (c) vs. Dani Luna & Jody Threat
