Tommy Dreamer feels he’s not the right pick to induct Paul Heyman into WWE HOF, names Steve Austin, CM Punk & Roman Reigns as options

The topic of who should induct Heyman.

As of this writing, WWE’s 2024 Hall of Fame class consists of Bull Nakano and Paul Heyman. The topic of who should induct Heyman into the Hall of Fame was discussed on Busted Open Radio

Hosting the conversation was Tommy Dreamer and Bully Ray. Bully asked Dreamer if he feels he should be the one to induct Heyman. Dreamer feels he’s not the right pick and went on to name Stone Cold Steve Austin, CM Punk and Roman Reigns as options.

If I’m the original Paul Heyman guy, sure (I’m the right person to induct him into WWE’s Hall of Fame). Am I the right pick? No. If I had to pick between — I have people in-house; Steve Austin, CM Punk. I’m picking either one of those two guys. It’s a television show and I understand the industry… Or, I’m sorry, Roman Reigns, hi… Could I do it? Sure. Should I do it? No.

Bully added that he cannot think of anyone else other than Steve Austin because Austin can speak to the beginning, middle and present periods of Heyman’s career as he was around Heyman for those stretches.

He said Punk and Reigns would be able to speak glowingly about Heyman from their time together in WWE and what they’ve heard about Heyman, but Austin can factor in WCW, ECW and WWE.
