Will Ospreay has accepted a challenge to face Bryan Danielson at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view.

The PPV, new for 2024, takes place at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri on April 21st.

Danielson defeated Shane Taylor in the opening match of Saturday’s edition of Collision. The show was taped on Thursday at the same venue as Wednesday’s live season premiere of AEW Dynamite, the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.

After the match, Ospreay came to the ring to face Danielson, just as the latter had done after the main event of this week’s episode of Dynamite. Danielson made the challenge, which Ospreay accepted.

** Elsewhere on Saturday’s broadcast, Kazuchika Okada made his in-ring debut for AEW in a victory with the Young Bucks over Jon Cruz, Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray.

Eddie Kingston emerged after the bell to attack the new-look Elite but he was beaten down. A returning PAC & Penta El Zero Miedo came to Kingston’s rescue. This led to a trios match being made for AEW Big Business on Wednesday between Okada & the Young Bucks and Eddie Kingston, PAC & Penta.

** Mariah May defeated Trish Adora. She was then presented with the first-ever ‘Toni Award’ by Toni Storm. The award was a shoe on a wooden base. Deonna Purrazzo ran out to attack Toni with the award but ended up getting the worst of the encounter.

** Nick Wayne was victorious over Adam Priest. Right after the bell, Adam Copeland, disguised as a luchador, attacked Christian Cage. He brought a box into the ring with the word “SPIKE” painted on it. We could not see what was in the box, but it was enough to make Cage and The Patriarchy retreat.

** Chris Jericho beat Titán, only to be immediately attacked by The Gates of Agony. HOOK came out with a kendo stick to make the save.

** Tony Schiavone interviewed Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR in the ring. They acknowledged the loss to Moxley & Castagnoli at AEW Revolution and officially entered the tournament for the vacant AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Captain Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo of The Infantry came to the ring. They said the tag team division needed a “revival”. Harwood told them The Revival was dead, as would their rivals be if the teams met in the tournament.

** CMLL’s Místico defeated Angelico in a technically solid and entertaining lucha libre match.

** HOOK & Chris Jericho vs. The Gates of Agony was announced for AEW Big Business on Wednesday.

** The main event was an “anything goes” Atlanta Street Fight between The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews) and Mark Briscoe, Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal.

The House of Black won the brawl, which featured trash cans, chairs, guitars, multiple table spots, and some nasty-looking bumps, particularly for Mark Briscoe.

Malakai Black got the pin on Briscoe after he was put through a flaming table.
