An official announcement from All Japan.

All Japan Pro Wrestling took to their official social media platforms to announce the passing of Yutaka Yoshie. After his match on March 10th, he returned to the backstage area and it is noted that his condition ‘deteriorated’.

He was rushed to a hospital but All Japan later learned that he passed away.

In a follow up post, AJPW is delaying the broadcast of the 3/10 AJPW show. It was scheduled to air on March 11th.

Yoshie had been wrestling since 1994 and he kicked off his career with New Japan. He first ventured into AJPW in 2001 and consistently began working with the company in 2012.

POST Wrestling would like to send our condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Yutaka Yoshie.
