Sami Zayn challenging GUNTHER for WWE Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 40

Zayn versus GUNTHER at WrestleMania. 

Coming out of the March 11th edition of Monday Night Raw, the WWE Intercontinental Championship match for WrestleMania 40 was set in place. 

Sami Zayn emerged victorious from a Gauntlet match to secure the title bout and he’ll be challenging GUNTHER at WrestleMania. The Gauntlet started off with Ricochet versus J.D. McDonagh and Ricochet advanced but was stopped by Bronson Reed. Reed’s time in the match came to an end via Sami Zayn. Zayn went on to eliminate Shinsuke Nakamura and the final two were Zayn and Gable. 

Post-match, Gable picked Zayn up off his knees and shook his hand before GUNTHER made his way to the stage area. With Zayn versus GUNTHER being added to WrestleMania, here’s the updated lineup:
