Wight states that he’s coming back to the ring.
The most recent occasion that Paul Wight wrestled was on the Jericho Cruise in January during which he tagged with Chris Jericho and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey.
Prior to that, Wight last competed on television on the 11/15/23 Dynamite in a Street Fight but was taken out by Powerhouse Hobbs.
Taking to his Instagram page, Wight posted a video and stated that he’ll be back in the ring soon.
Hey everybody, Paul Wight here. I know it’s been a while. I’ve been a little laxed on my social media posts. I bet you wonder what do giants do when they’re not in the ring? Well, this giant currently… is taking the trash can (out). But I will be back in the ring soon. Can’t wait to see you guys.
In early 2021, Wight signed a long-term deal with All Elite Wrestling. He made his way to the commentary desk and called Dark: Elevation alongside Tony Schiavone. On occasion, he’ll call the action for AEW Rampage.
