TNA iMPACT notes: Rich Swann aligns with AJ Francis, two title matches on 3/21, Mustafa Ali retains

As A.J. Francis and Joe Hendry were having a singles match, both were trying to get their hands on a chair. Rich Swann ran down to the ring and grabbed it. While the referee was down, Swann took a chair to the body of Hendry multiple times. This led to Francis securing the win and revealing his alliance with Swann.

Two championship matches were set up for the 3/21 episode and those are listed as follows:

  • TNA Knockouts World Championship: Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Tasha Steelz
  • TNA Digital Media Championship: Crazzy Steve (c) vs. PCO

In the opening match, Mustafa Ali bested Chris Sabin to retain the X Division Championship.

In addition to the title matches, the following was announced for 3/21:

  • Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) vs. Time Splitters (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin)
  • Ash by Elegance in action

After falling in defeat to Alex Hammerstone at TNA Sacrifice, Josh Alexander appeared and called Hammerstone out. He was met by Dirty Dango, Alpha Bravo and Oleg Prudius. An impromptu match between Alexander and Prudius was made official and Alexander made quick work of him.
