Replacements have been made for the Tag Title bout.
On March 17th, Pro Wrestling NOAH is presenting their ‘Great Voyage’ show from Yokohama, Japan. Among the matches scheduled was Kaito Kiyomiya and Ryohei Oiwa challenging Jack Morris and Anthony Greene for the GHC Tag Team Championships.
That match is now off due to Kiyomiya suffering a spinal cord concussion while training. Filling in for Kiyomiya and Oiwa will be the duo of Saxon Huxley and Timothy Thatcher.
National Institutes of Health has the following written about spinal cord concussions:
Spinal cord concussion is a variant of mild spinal cord injury, clinically designated as transient paraplegia or neurapraxia, and characterized by variable degrees of sensory impairment and motor weakness that typically resolve within 24–72 hours without permanent deficits… Spinal cord concussion is predominantly a sport-related injury occurring in a wide variety of contact sports in adult and pediatric athletes including wrestling, hockey, gymnastics, and diving, but most commonly in American football, although spinal concussions can also occur after minor car accidents as “whiplash injuries” and falls.
Kiyomiya and Oiwa are still being advertised for NOAH’s 3/31 show where they’ll be facing Kenoh and Yu Owada.
