The finals of STARDOM’s Cinderella tournament took place on 3/20 and in addition to the tourney final, the World of Stardom Championship was on the line.
Maika successfully defended the belt against Utami Hayashshita in a near-30-minute match. It was her second defense of the title.
In her backstage comments, Maika called out Megan Bayne to be her opponent at STARDOM American Dream on April 4th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bayne and Maika were a team in STARDOM known as ‘Divine Kingdom’. They were together from the summer of 2023 until January of this year.
Bayne departed STARDOM but stated that she’ll be back. In 2023, Fightful Select reported that Bayne is under contract to All Elite Wrestling.
The likes of Willow Nightingale, Mariah May, Xia Brookside and Stephanie Vaquer are also scheduled for STARDOM’s show in Philadelphia.
