Queen Aminata and Billie Starkz are to face off at Supercard of Honor to see who will be the first ROH Women’s World TV Champion.

Both advanced in the semifinals during Thursday’s broadcast of Ring of Honor television on HonorClub.

Billie Starkz defeated Mercedes Martinez in the first semifinal, which kicked off the show.

Right away, the second semifinal got underway, with Queen Aminata coming out on top against Red Velvet.

ROH owner Tony Khan unveiled the new championship in December 2023, announcing a tournament to crown its first holder.

There were 16 initial competitors, with the field featuring names such as Trish Adora, Leyla Hirsch and Taya Valkyrie.

Later in the show, an Eddie Kingston promo aired for his ROH World Championship match with Mark Briscoe. He said:

So everyone saw me lose to Okada. Everyone saw how I reacted to it…I got a phone call after that from my mentor, Homicide, former Ring of Honor World Champion. He said, “Eddie, why are you acting like such a bitch?” He said, “Eddie, where’s Eddie that I know — that used to go in there and gouge people’s eyes, fishhook people, punch people in the bridge of their nose? What happened to the guy?”

He said he misses that guy. He said that guy could have beat Okada. That guy will be the guy who beats Mark Briscoe.

He added:

I’m gonna bring the old Eddie, the one that doesn’t care about life, the one that doesn’t care about your life either. Chicken, I’m gonna bust you up, man, because I have to.

Because I can’t lose again, Chicken. I don’t wanna ever feel that pain again. I don’t want my mentor to ever doubt me again. So you better bring it, ‘cause if you don’t, if you don’t, I can’t be held responsible for what I do to you. Let that sink in.

Supercard of Honor takes place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday, April 5th.
