Kicking off Monday Night Raw was an in-ring segment with Cody Rhodes. Making a surprise appearance during it was Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. There were no words exchanged between the two that was heard by the audience in attendance or on the broadcast, but The Rock whispered something into Cody’s ear. Later in the show, Rhodes was asked what was told to him and he stated that it was a promise that Rock could not keep. The main event of the program was Jey Uso versus Shinsuke Nakamura and before Uso scored the win, Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins ran to the ring to fend off Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. As Rhodes and Jimmy were brawling backstage, The Rock joined the fray. Outside of Rhodes’ tour bus, The Rock made him bleed and then unveiled the ‘Mama Rhodes’ weight belt. Rock and Roman Reigns are scheduled for the 4/1 Raw in Brooklyn, New York.
Bronson Reed scored a pin fall victory over Sami Zayn as WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER watched. Zayn is scheduled to challenge GUNTHER for the title at WrestleMania 40.
Since returning to WWE at the Royal Rumble, Andrade is now 2-0 with his latest win coming against Giovanni Vinci.
