Olympic gold medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock makes NXT in-ring debut

Olympic gold medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock made her in-ring debut at an NXT live event on Saturday night.

Per fan reports, she defeated Breanna Covington at the show in Melbourne, Florida.

Mensah-Stock made history as the first black female Olympian to win a gold medal in freestyle wrestling. She made the achievement at the Tokyo Summer Olympics in 2021.

She signed with WWE in May 2023 and has been in training at the Performance Center in Florida.

Mensa-Stock was introduced alongside fellow Olympian Gable Steveson in front of the crowd at SummerSlam 2021.
