Plans are in motion for the promotion to launch.

After Rossy Ogawa’s contract with STARDOM was terminated by Bushiroad, he went on to confirm his intentions to launch his own organization.

The plans for that to come to fruition are in motion as Ogawa held a meeting on April 2nd regarding the launch of the organization. Tokyo Sports caught up with him outside of the building that the meeting took place at.

Ogawa stated that he could feel the passion from everyone who was present and he’s confident the venture will be a success. He thinks there will be something to announce at some point in April.

I could feel the passion of each wrestler, and we had a fruitful discussion. I am confident that this will be a success.

We received a lot of opinions from the wrestlers, and we want to manage them well. I think I’ll be able to make an announcement sometime this month.

In March, STARDOM confirmed that Giulia, Utami Hayashishita, Mai Sakurai, MIRAI and Yuzuki would be leaving the promotion. Sakurai, MIRAI and Yuzuki wrapped up on the 31st of March and while Giulia and Utami are now free agents, their final matches with STARDOM are taking place on April 12th.

Giulia confirmed her free agency when she appeared at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s ‘MONDAY MAGIC’ event and she was announced for the WRESTLE UNIVERSE pay-per-view on May 4th.
