Ospreay is heavily influenced by the franchise.

There’s a feature story about Will Ospreay that IGN pushed out. It is centered around Ospreay being influenced by the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Within the piece, Ospreay shared that when he was with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, representatives of the Assassin’s Creed film wanted to use some of his photos to promote the movie. Ospreay claims he was told that he might’ve been able to do stunt work if there was an Assassin’s Creed II.

I was in New Japan when the Assassin’s Creed film came out. They wanted to use some of my photos from New Japan to help advertise the movie coming over! They said if there was going to be an Assassin’s Creed 2, I might be able to do some stunt work in it and I got excited. Nothing ever came of it but I’d love to be a part of Assassin’s Creed.

At Wrestle Kingdom 18, Ospreay collaborated with Ubisoft for his entrance. The video game company told Ospreay there are options for him to explore with Assassin’s Creed.

After getting the go ahead from Ubisoft to have their theme playing for my last Tokyo Dome match, they said that there are options for me to explore with Assassin’s Creed now. So if there ever was a movie, or a game, or even a downloadable Aerial Assassin (character), I’m completely open for it. I love the Assassin’s Creed franchise and honestly, it would be an honor.

Ospreay is signed to All Elite Wrestling and his second pay-per-view match as a contracted talent is taking place on 4/21 at Dynasty. He’ll be squaring off against Bryan Danielson.
