Jade Cargill excited to team with ‘living legends’ Bianca Belair & Naomi at WrestleMania 40

Cargill mentioned that she’s looking forward to sharing the ring with Asuka as well.

As Bianca Belair and Naomi were on the opposite end of the numbers game with Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane & Asuka), evening the odds was Jade Cargill, who officially joined the SmackDown roster earlier in the night.

Cargill is set to team with Belair and Naomi to take on Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 40. She opened up about her excitement for it while guest appearing on The Michael Kay Show

You guys, I would have never — first of all, we’re talking about Naomi and Bianca Belair. I could’ve never had a better setup next to two veterans, one who has won WrestleMania how many times? Yeah, she is (undefeated at WrestleMania). So for me to be in the same ring… no one would ever fathom that. I don’t think that anybody ever thought that I was probably gonna come here or that (we’d) actually be in the same ring together. So for me to have two phenomenal women, two phenomenal Black women, women in general, I would have never, ever thought that in my life. I’m just happy to be next to them at this point. I mean, eventually, I’m gonna take over. That’s my M.O., that’s business. But, right now, to be at my first WrestleMania, period, for me to be next to these living legends, for me to be in a match against Asuka, it doesn’t get any better than that. Who can say that? No one, and then to only have two losses in my entire career, that’s huge, you know?… That’s a different story! That’s a different story! (Cargill responded when host mentioned that some say she shouldn’t have any losses on her record) You know, you gotta do certain things to get ahead in life and I’m here for a reason and I’m not here to just blend in. I’m here to stand out and make a name for myself.

The six-woman tag is taking place on night one of WrestleMania. There are currently seven matches scheduled for night one and six taking place on night two.
