WWE WrestleMania XL night two notes: Drew McIntyre’s family & friends react, attendance number, Ricky Starks/Dustin Rhodes

Opening up WrestleMania XL was Drew McIntyre defeating Seth Rollins to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Post-match, McIntyre taunted CM Punk which led to Punk taking him out and following up on that, Damian Priest cashed in on McIntyre to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Drew’s brother, John Galloway, tweeted a picture of McIntyre’s family and friends throwing up the middle finger to Lincoln Financial Field. 

During the match between McIntyre and Rollins, McIntyre went over to his wife, grabbed his phone and sent out a tweet about being bored at work. Bad Bunny quote tweeted McIntyre’s post after he lost the belt and noted that he hopes McIntyre had a good shift. McIntyre posted a follow-up tweet about his loss. 

In attendance for the event were Dustin Rhodes, Ricky Starks and Amanda Huber. 

The attendance number for night two of WrestleMania XL is 72,755 and the total for both nights is 145,298. 

AJ Styles debuted a new theme song. He fell in defeat to L.A. Knight. 

The following celebrities were shown on-screen: Michael Che, George Kittle, T-Pain, Vanessa Hudgens and Lilly Singh. 

YouTuber and streamer, IShowSpeed, took an RKO from Randy Orton during the U.S. Title match. Speed posted the following to X afterwards:

Prior to WrestleMania, the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings X account posted a picture to ‘acknowledge’ Roman Reigns. They picked Reigns up as an undrafted free agent in 2007.
