Ellering states that he gets to check the accolade off his to-do list.

One of the matches presented on night two of WWE WrestleMania XL was the Philadelphia Street Fight between The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam & Rezar) and Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.

On the Final Testament’s side, they were accompanied to the ring by Scarlett and Paul Ellering. That was the first WrestleMania that Ellering has ever been involved in and he spoke about the experience on Busted Open

It was incredible (walking down the aisle at WrestleMania XL) because (mostly) everybody thought I had been in a WrestleMania. I have never been in one. I’d been at two. No. I was at the Hall of Fame when I was inducted in Orlando because I was with NXT at the time. But I’ve never been in a WrestleMania so last night was my — I can cross it off my to-do list.

Ellering is known as the manager of The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal). He looked back at the occasions when they had to fight their way through crowds. He shared that there was a time when he was at ringside and someone threw a dart at his back.

One time, we (Road Warriors) were wrestling in… where’s the Hall of Fame? Canton, Ohio… and I’m on the side of the ring and boom, ‘Oh.’ I went, ‘Jeez! Something’s wrong with my back’ and Hawk says, ‘Let me look’ and he looks and he goes, ‘Woop. Somebody threw a dart.’ Stuck me right in the back.

The Final Testament were on the losing end of the Street Fight. WWE Hall of Famers Snoop Dogg and Bully Ray were involved as a commentator and referee respectively.
