Naito ponders a potential option if he’s able to beat a top name in AEW.

Coming out of NJPW Sakura Genesis, next up on the schedule for the company is Windy City Riot on April 12th from Chicago, Illinois.

The full lineup is locked in and headlining the event is Jon Moxley challenging Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Naito invited Tokyo Sports reporters to a restaurant to discuss his title defense against Yota Tsuji and the upcoming defense against Moxley.

Naito stated that since Moxley is at the top of AEW, if he is able to get the win, he’d like to ask AEW President Tony Khan how much he’d be paid for three years.

I’m not interested in anything other than getting revenge (on Jon Moxley). But he’s the head of AEW, right? If I win the title match, I’d like to ask President Tony Khan how much I’ll be paid for three years.

Moxley and Naito have wrestled once and that took place during the summer of 2019 in the G1 Climax tournament. Moxley defeated Naito in the main event.
