Drew Gulak was not present with No Quarter Catch Crew (Damon Kemp, Myles Borne & Charlie Dempsey). In an interview, Ronda Rousey accused Gulak of touching the string of her sweatpants while backstage in March 2022. Gulak responded to the accusation on X. Gulak’s name was removed from the No Quarter Catch Crew titantron. Borne and Kemp lost a tag match to Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino.

Prior to the aforementioned match, a backstage segment was shot with No Quarter Catch Crew. They discussed Dempsey’s match against Matt Makowski at GCW/Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport X. Makowski reacted to the segment on X.

NXT Spring Breakin’ was announced and it’ll be a two-night event that’ll air on USA Network on April 23rd and 30th.

There was an in-ring segment with Trick Williams following his win over Carmelo Hayes at Stand & Deliver. Williams stated that regardless of their issues, he would not be where he is without Hayes. He then set his sights on Ilja Dragunov and the NXT Championship. Dragunov initially denied Williams’ request for a title match, but then proposed the stipulation that he’ll give Williams his shot at Spring Breakin’ but if Williams loses, he’ll have to leave NXT. Trick agreed, but both him and Dragunov were attacked by Carmelo Hayes. Hayes then called out Williams for a Steel Cage match on 4/16.

Jacy Jayne showed up to a Chase University award ceremony and revealed that the reason Chase U. went into debt is because Andre Chase bet a lump sum of money on Thea Hail to win the NXT Women’s Championship at Great American Bash. She faced Tiffany Stratton in a Submission match and as Chase saw Hail in trouble and unwilling to tap, he threw in the towel to stop the bout.

Natalya challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship and lost after Lola Vice gave an assist to Perez. Natalya then went after Vice backstage. Vice is going to be in singles action on 4/16 against Sol Ruca.

Je’Von Evans made his NXT TV in-ring debut and picked up a win over SCRYPTS.

The following bouts are official for 4/16:

  • Joaquin Wilde vs. Ridge Holland
  • Dijak vs. Noam Dar (w/ Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson & Oro Mensah)
