Veteran Japanese talent TAKA Michinoku is interested in a potential trip to AEW.
Michinoku, 50, has appeared all around the wrestling world since starting his career in the early 90s. With nearly 4,000 matches to his name, Michinoku has stints in WWF, NJPW, AJPW, and NOAH. He has also founded two different promotions, Active Advance Pro Wrestling and Professional Wrestling Just Tap Out.
But through all of his wrestling appearances, he has yet to compete inside an AEW ring. He wants that to change, per a recent social media post.
I wrestled in US more than 20 years ago.
After that, I avoided going abroad, but while my body was still moving, I began to want to try a little bit.
I'm especially curious about AEW.

“I wrestled in US more than 20 years ago,” Michinoku posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), attaching four different photos from his WWF run. “After that, I avoided going abroad, but while my body was still moving, I began to want to try [to wrestle abroad again] a little bit. I’m especially curious about AEW. [I] want to go up.”
Michinoku currently wrestles in NJPW as part of the Just 5 Guys faction. While he isn’t one of the top names in the promotion that gets big opportunities, he’s a frequent wrestler as part of their tours.
