Chris Jericho has filed to trademark some of the new phrases he threw out during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Recent filings show that Jericho applied to trademark “The Learning Tree,” “The Educator,” and “The Rarified Air of Jericho.”

These terms were used by Jericho this week as part of his current storyline with Hook. Before a match where he teamed with Hook and Katsuyori Shibata, Jericho came off as an overly controlling head coach who was obsessed with his own image.

Predictably, Jericho’s game plan caused the trio to lose against Shane Taylor Promotions, resulting in further turmoil between the veteran and the FTW Champion.

Many of Jericho’s catchphrases are active trademarks by the wrestler. A quick search of trademark database USPTO shows that “Jericho Appreciation Society,” “Demo God,” “The Golden Jets,” and “The Painmaker” are all currently registered under his corporation.
