Zack Sabre Jr. becomes two-time NJPW World TV Champion at Windy City Riot

Sabre Jr. is champion once again.

For the first time, there is a two-time NJPW World Television Champion. Matt Riddle put the World TV Title on the line against the first-ever holder of the title, Zack Sabre Jr.

Before the 15-minute time limit was up, Sabre Jr. was able to trap Riddle in a pin and for the second time, he captured the title.

As Sabre Jr. was speaking to the audience, he stated that he’ll be defending the title in the U.S. very soon and then coming out to the ring was Jeff Cobb. They had an exchange which saw Sabre Jr. bait him in, but Cobb countered and Sabre Jr. scattered out of the ring.

He promised to give Cobb a shot at the title. The next STRONG event is Resurgence on May 11th.
