Gable reaches his breaking point.
The 4/15 episode of Monday Night Raw emanated from the Bell Centre in Montreal and the show was headlined by Sami Zayn, who grew up near the city. He defended the Intercontinental Title against Chad Gable.
Zayn ended up securing the win to hold onto the belt and post-match, he showed respect to Gable and that was reciprocated although Gable was emotional.
The champion went to the ringside area to celebrate with his family and while hugging his wife, Gable grabbed a hold of Zayn and German suplexed him. He then continued to go after Zayn and the show went off the air with Gable trapping Zayn’s leg in-between the turnbuckle and putting him in an Ankle Lock.
Gable’s loss to Zayn was the third time he’s lost a televised Intercontinental Title match.
