A new champion is going to be crowned.

At the start of the 4/15 episode of Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley revealed that due to a shoulder injury, she’ll have to relinquish the WWE Women’s World Championship. Liv Morgan ambushing her on the Raw after WrestleMania is being credited as the reason for Ripley’s injury.

Ripley stated that she’ll be sidelined for ‘quite a few months’. As the promotion of the 4/22 Raw was being done, it was revealed that a new Women’s World Champion will be crowned on the next Raw.

Joining the lineup for that show is Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth) defending the WWE World Tag Team Championships against D.I.Y. (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa), who won a number one contender’s match on the program.

There is going to be another tag match as Andrade and Ricochet team up to take on Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and J.D. McDonagh.
