The formal announcement of Rossy Ogawa’s promotion.
A press conference was held on 4/15 and STARDOM co-founder Rossy Ogawa officially launched his new promotion, Marigold Dream Star Fighting. Ogawa’s contract with STARDOM was terminated by Bushiroad in February. He was accused of poaching talent and staff which he denied.
The first Marigold show is taking place on May 20th at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo titled ‘MARIGOLD Fields Forever’. It’ll be headlined by a tag match that will see Giulia and a partner taking on Sareee and a partner. The show is going to stream live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE with English commentary.
The Marigold roster was revealed to be the following:
- Giulia
- Utami Hayashishita
- MIRAI
- Mai Sakurai
- Victoria Yuzuki (f.k.a. Yuzuki)
- Nanae Takahashi
- Nao Ishikawa
Joining Marigold for their first tour will be Myla Grace, Zayda Steel and Bozilla.
There will be auditions to recruit Marigold trainees. Prior to the press conference, the Actwres girl’Z promotion announced that Fuka (Actwres girl’Z advisor) and six members of the talent roster left the promotion.
