Confirmed bouts for Resurgence.
The Toyota Arena in Ontario, California is going to play host to the next New Japan Pro-Wrestling U.S. special titled Resurgence.
On May 11th, the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line. At Wrestling Dontaku, newly crowned champion Jon Moxley is putting the title on the line against Ren Narita and the winner will be headed to Resurgence to defend against Shota Umino.
With that match being made official, here are the announced bouts for Resurgence:
- IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: TBD (c) vs. Shota Umino
- NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship — No Rope Last Man Standing Match: Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Gabe Kidd
- NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Alex Windsor
- Tetsuya Naito & Yota Tsuji vs. David Finlay & KENTA
- Tom Lawlor & Fred Rosser vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson)
- Kickoff Show: Matt Vandagriff vs. Adrian Quest
