Cardona is sidelined.
Coming up in June, wXw Germany is going to present their Drive of Champions show. In an update on the talent roster for the show, the promotion tweeted that Cardona informed them that he’s out of action due to a torn pectoral muscle.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp noted that several promoters have been informed of Cardona’s injury and he alerted the promotions that he’ll be undergoing surgery.
Cardona made his return to All Elite Wrestling on the 3/30 episode of Collision during which he challenged Adam Copeland for the TNT Championship.
He returned to TNA Wrestling as well and helped Steph De Lander secure a Knockouts World Title shot at Rebellion. Cardona was scheduled for the post-Rebellion taping on 4/21.
