AEW Dynamite experiences decrease for “go home” episode before Dynasty

AEW Dynamite saw a slide in its viewership figures for the go-home episode before Dynasty this weekend.

The April 17 episode from Indianapolis averaged 762,000 viewers and 337,000 (0.26) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics.

The audience dropped seven percent while the core demo audience experienced a decline of sixteen percent from last week’s program.

Dynamite faced competition airing against games from the NBA Play-In Tournament with Miami vs. Philadelphia and Atlanta vs. Chicago.

In the 18-49 demographic, males dropped by twenty percent averaging 213,000 viewers while females fell by eight percent to 124,000 viewers.

Adults 18-34 decreased by twenty-six percent with a decline from 150,000 to 111,000 viewers.

Adults 35-49 fell from 250,000 to 226,000 viewers this week, although females in this demo were the lone category to grow with a seven percent increase over last week.

In Canada, the show averaged 130,700 viewers and 72,000 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, which ranked tenth among sports programming on Wednesday. The audience was nearly identical to the previous week, however, the demo grew nineteen percent.
