NXT premium live event Battleground has been announced for Sunday, June 9th at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The WWE and UFC’s parent company TKO Holdings owns the venue, which opened its doors in 2019.

The UFC Apex has been a staple of Fight Night cards since the pandemic, but has a very limited seating capacity.

Plans for renovations to expand fan access were announced in 2022. However, it remains listed as a 130,000 sq ft facility in Monday’s TKO press release.

Battleground had originally been scheduled for the Enmarket Arena on Sunday, May 26th in Savannah, Georgia, before Monday Night Raw at the same venue.

The original date clashes with AEW Double or Nothing, which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
