Hitoshi Kumano returns in-ring action at WRESTLE MAGIC PPV

After a four-year absence, Hitoshi Kumano is back.

WRESTLE UNIVERSE streamed the WRESTLE MAGIC pay-per-view that emanated from Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan. There was a six-man tag that saw HAYATA, Eita and AKIRA take on Junta Miyawaki, Yu Owada and the returning Hitoshi Kumano.

The last time that Kumano wrestled prior to his return bout was in July of 2020 for NOAH.

He stepped away from in-ring competition to undergo an eye operation and in February 2024, he stated that he got the operation and returned to the NOAH dojo to do some light training.

Kumano, Owada and Miyawaki were on the losing end of the match. AKIRA pinned Miyawaki after a top rope splash.
