Cobb’s first challenger.
It was on May 3rd that Jeff Cobb bested Zack Sabre Jr. to become the new NJPW World Television Champion. In his post-match comments, Cobb opened the door for anyone to step up and challenge him.
Answering the call is Lance Archer. NJPW released a video on their social and digital platforms that featured Archer calling out Cobb for Resurgence on May 11th.
Resurgence will be the third one-on-one match between Cobb and Archer. They met in 2020 and during the summer of 2022 in the G1 Climax. Here’s the updated Resurgence lineup:
