Rossy Ogawa always felt that STARDOM needed a rival.
Back in early February, Bushiroad and STARDOM terminated Rossy Ogawa’s contract due to alleged poaching of talent and staff. That led to Ogawa going on to launch his Dream Star Fighting Marigold promotion.
Talents who will be a part of the debut show on May 20th are making the media rounds and one of those names is Giulia. The former World of Stardom Champion was part of an extensive piece published by ShuPro Weekly Pro-Wrestling.
Giulia remembers Ogawa always saying that STARDOM needed a rival organization. She said he joked that since it was hard to find one, he’d have to create that himself.
Ever since I was at STARDOM, Ogawa-san has always said that we need a rival organization. He laughed and said that since it was hard to come up with a rival organization, he would have to create one himself, but after some twists and turns, he really did create a new organization.
Giulia was seated alongside William Regal and Ogawa at NXT Stand & Deliver in April. She was spotlighted on-screen.
In a separate media appearance, Giulia said her time in Marigold may be short.
