A new show for Taylor to be the soundtrack for.
After the 5/7 WWE NXT concluded, on-air personalities, staff, talents and the broadcast team gathered backstage to send-off ring announcer Alicia Taylor.
In a video posted on Shawn Michaels’ X account, he stated that Taylor is going to be the ring announcer for Friday Night SmackDown. She’s been the ring announcer for NXT since April 2019.
Michaels and Taylor embraced and then he presented her with an NXT Title belt.
Taylor and Samantha Irvin are now the ring announcers for WWE’s main roster. Fightful Select reported that now-former SmackDown announcer Mike Rome will be heading to NXT.
