Ric Flair says he made $39,000 from Offset & Metro Boomin’s Ric Flair Drip song, other parties made $48 million

Payouts from Ric Flair Drip, according to Ric Flair.

In 2017, Offset and Metro Boomin released their ‘Ric Flair Drip’ song. For the music video, Offset asked Flair to be a part of it.

While guest appearing on the JAXXON PODCAST, Flair shared that he made $39,000 from the song and the other parties involved made $48 million. Flair added that he did not have a contract or an agent to handle his side of the deal.

The damndest story (he said about Ric Flair Drip song). I’d just gotten out of the hospital. I actually had the stoma bag on. I had a stoma for a year when I got out. The bag, right? Attached to my intestine, and I had just gotten out of the hospital. I didn’t have an agent. So, they made $48 million, I made 39 grand. That song went seven-times platinum. I didn’t have a contract with them. Offset said, ‘You wanna do it?’ I said, ‘Yeah’, and I didn’t have an agent because I had no memory for six months after I got out.

In January 2022, Offset, Quavo and the late Kirsnick Ball (Takeoff) appeared at WWE Day 1 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Elsewhere in the interview, Flair shared that he suffered a legitimate heart attack during his last match and to read about that, click here.
