Rousey wanted the match.

The promotion of Our Fight: A Memoir continued as Ronda Rousey did a LiveSigning session with her sister, Maria Burns-Ortiz.

As Rousey was taking questions from the chat, she was asked about dream fights/matches she wanted to have. On the wrestling front, she ‘really’ wanted the singles bout versus Becky Lynch. Rousey added that it was dangled in front of her.

Well, I really wanted to have that singles with Becky (Lynch) that constantly got dangled in front of me — I never got to have — which you can read about in our book at OurFightBook.com you can get it at and hear me b*tch about that for a couple hundred pages.

In early April, Rousey gave her recount of a 2022 incident with NXT talent Drew Gulak. She stated that Gulak grabbed the string of her sweatpants.

Gulak was removed from television afterwards and at the Backlash press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque stated that Gulak’s contract is not being renewed.
