On his live Twitch stream, Kenny Omega shared that he is set to undergo surgery soon.
The AEW star has been out of action since December when he discovered he had Diverticulitis.

Kenny Omega announces that he will be having surgery on his diverticulitis “very very soon”. He said that the top surgeon in his field will be performing his procedure.

While not stating when the surgery is scheduled, he stated it would be, “Very, very soon” and that this would be his last Twitch stream for a while.
On the stream, he added that the top surgeon in the field is performing the procedure and Omega is optimistic he will return to the ring “better and stronger” than he was during the period when he was the “belt collector.”
