The attempt was not effective.

2024 is the last year that Bryan Danielson will be a full-time wrestler. He looked back on a moment from his career during his time in WWE.

While guest appearing on Hockey Night In Canada: Punjabi, he recounted when WWE did not want him being cheered in Seattle so something with Bryan aired during which he talked about being from Aberdeen and said Seattle sucks. He said it was not effective as far a toning down the cheers.

The crowd tends to like you more where you’re from — most people. Some people, not so much (he laughed) … When I was in WWE, they had me do this thing, that wasn’t on TV but they didn’t want me to be cheered in Seattle. So they tried to do this thing that only aired to the live crowd that was like, ‘I’m from Washington state but I’m from Aberdeen and Seattle actually sucks.’ Something like that and it was not very effective.

In another media appearance, Danielson said his AEW contract is set to expire before All In 2024. To read more, head over to this link
