Kento Miyahara has defeated Jun Saito in the final of the All Japan Pro Wrestling Champion Carnival tournament.

The victory marks only the second time Miyahara has claimed the prestigious trophy, the first being in 2019.

After the win, Miyahara called current Triple Crown Champion Heavyweight Champion Yuma Anzai to the ring to issue a title challenge for May 29th at Korakuen Hall.

Miyahara prevailed over Saito in the conclusion of this year’s tournament in a 27-minute main event with a Shutdown German Suplex hold to grab the pinfall.

Elsewhere on the card at the Yokohama Buntai Arena, Rising HAYATO retained his AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Title against veteran Kaz Hayashi.

In a special tag match, Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Cyrus lost to Yuma Anzai & Ryuki Honda.

A North American theme continued when it was announced that NWA World Heavyweight Champion EC3 will visit Japan on May 29th to defend his title at Korakuen Hall. His opponent is yet to be announced.

NWA tag team The End (Odinson & Parrow) will also make the trip.
