LA Knight and Tiffany Stratton have advanced to their respective quarterfinals in the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.

Both SmackDown talents competed in their preliminary matches at a WWE live event in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Saturday night.

Knight defeated Santos Escobar, and Stratton got her win over Michin.

As a result, Knight will now face Tama Tonga on the next episode of WWE SmackDown, while Stratton will face Bianca Belair.

On the Raw side of the brackets, there will be two further preliminary matches at a live event in Macon, Georgia, later on Sunday.

Kofi Kingston will face Rey Mysterio, with the winner to challenge Gunther. As announced earlier, Zelina Vega has had to withdraw from the tournament with an injury. In her place, Maxxine Dupri will face Shayna Baszler. The winner of that match will go on to compete against IYO SKY.

The finals of both the men’s and women’s tournaments will be held on May 25th at the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
