She reiterated that the 2022 opportunity was too fresh to take.

A new interview with Cassie Lee f.k.a. Peyton Royce was pushed out by D.S. Shin of Ring The Belle. The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay) revealed on their podcast that they turned down the opportunity to be in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble.

Both explained that it was too fresh of an opportunity to take following their releases from WWE. Lee stated in this new media interview that she’d be open to a Royal Rumble appearance because she feels healed.

Yeah, I’m open to it, for sure (she said about WWE’s Royal Rumble). I would love that. It’d be so good to catch up and I mean, it’s the Royal Rumble. We said no last time because we were still pretty hurt about it but, I feel healed now and I feel like I’d love to do that if the opportunity came.

As the conversation rolled on, Lee reacted to a revelation from Torrie Wilson on Lilian Garcia’s podcast, during which Wilson shared that she pitched a match to WWE involving herself and Michelle McCool versus The IInspiration.

Oh, stop! (She reacted to hearing about Torrie Wilson’s pitch) No! I didn’t (hear about that). Oh my gosh. So many missed opportunities. No, I had no idea. That would have been a dream come true as well.

Cassie was last in action in the fall of 2023. She and Shawn Spears are expecting their second child in 2024. Jessica McKay gave birth to her first child in 2023.
