Gangrel fights off House of Black, Adam Copeland retains TNT Title at AEW Double or Nothing

Gangrel and Copeland reunite and he holds onto the TNT Title.

A Barbed Wire Steel Cage match was the stipulation for the TNT Championship bout between Malakai Black and the champion Adam Copeland at AEW Double or Nothing.

Copeland entered the match with a Brood-esque entrance and there was a follow-up to that at the conclusion of the match. Copeland did an elbow drop from the top rope onto Malakai during their bout.

While on the outside of the ring, House of Black’s Brody King and Buddy Matthews pretended as if they were going to side with Copeland, but while they were standing beside him, Brody clotheslined Copeland. They threw him in the ring and held him while Malakai was setting up for The End finisher. Gangrel climbed from underneath the ring and fought off Matthews and King.

He was soon taken out by Malakai, and Copeland followed that up with a spear. He proceeded to wrap barbed wire around the face of Black as he locked in a crossface submission to secure the win. Copeland then took his wedding ring back from Malakai.

Copeland embraced Gangrel and Gangrel helped him to the back because Copeland was limping.
