An update on Copeland.

At AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Adam Copeland successfully defended the TNT Championship against Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match. The bout featured a surprise appearance from Gangrel, who helped Copeland fight off House of Black’s Buddy Matthews and Brody King.

There was a point during the match when Copeland jumped off the top of the structure onto Black. Copeland went for an elbow drop, but he landed feet-first before connecting with the elbow. Gangrel helped him to the backstage area as he was limping afterwards.

He took to his X account and shared that he suffered a fractured tibia that’ll require surgery.

The TNT Champion stated that he’ll find out the recovery timetable this weekend.
