Drew Gulak, whose WWE contract expired in May and was not renewed, is to appear at a Beyond Wrestling event on July 4th.

Gulak had spent eight years with WWE across various brands after being signed in 2016.

The 37-year-old was announced on Saturday night for Beyond Wrestling’s Americana ’24: Where Eagles Dare event.

It will mark Gulak’s first appearance for the company since 2016.

In April 2024, Ronda Rousey made allegations of an inappropriate interaction with Gulak in which he pulled the drawstring on her sweatpants.  He later stated that the incident was accidental, during an attempt to shake hands.

Shortly after, Gulak was written off NXT television and, on May 3rd, was among a list of WWE talent cuts.

At the Backlash PLE press conference, in answer to a question from reporter Lucas Charpiot, Paul Levesque said that the company chose not to extend Gulak’s contract.
