The Best of the Super Juniors final is set after Monday’s semi-final matches.

Korakuen Hall played host to the final four with El Desperado and Taiji Ishimori advancing to Sunday’s final, which will headline Dominion at Osaka-jo Hall.

Ishimori defeated TJP after surviving a Mamba Splash and the Pinoy Stretch. TJP applied his own version of the Bone Lock, which Ishimori reversed. He transitioned to a reverse Bloody Sunday and finished TJP with the Bloody Cross.

El Desperado beat DOUKI in the main event on Monday. DOUKI applied the Italian Stretch, which Desperado countered using a jackknife cover with the pace intensifying throughout the final minutes. After a backslide transition, Desperado connected with the Pinche Loco and hit a follow-up for the win after 22+ minutes.

Ishimori was forced to withdraw from last year’s tournament due to a cervical spine injury. This year’s story revolves around his comeback and being part of the first junior heavyweight main event at Dominion.

Desperado has never won the tournament but was a finalist in 2020 and 2022.

Dominion airs this Sunday from Osaka-jo Hall with the following lineup:
*Best of the Super Juniors – Final: El Desperado vs. Taiji Ishimori
