Best of the Super Juniors winner determined.

The main event of NJPW’s Dominion event was the 2024 Best of the Super Juniors final between El Desperado and Taiji Ishimori.

For 23 minutes, the two talents clashed but at the conclusion of the match, Desperado got his hand raised. It is the first time he has won the tournament.

With his win, Desperado secured a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. He is a three-time holder of the title.

SHO is in possession of the Junior Heavyweight belt and he interrupted Desperado’s post-win speech. The two went back-and-forth and during their exchange, Desperado suggested that they do the match in a Steel Cage. The last time there was a Steel Cage match in NJPW was in February at The New Beginning in Osaka.
