** Megan Morant and Sam Roberts hosted an hour-long ‘Countdown’ pre-show to preview the card and present backstage promos. There were no matches ahead of the PLE start time of 8 pm ET.

** Vic Joseph and Booker T were on English-language commentary as Sexyy Red welcomed the crowd to the UFC Apex. The venue had been extensively reconfigured to hold more fans than would typically be in attendance for a UFC Fight Night. Several rows of riser seating had been fitted in, and the ring barricades and announce desk were situated close to the ring.

** Also in contrast to UFC Fight Nights, the crowd made themselves heard, adding a good deal of atmosphere to the event.

** The opener was the six-woman ladder match to crown the inaugural NXT North American Women’s Championship. Kelani Jordan would emerge as the winner in a well laid-out match with some great-looking spots.

** Second on the card was the match for the NXT Tag Team Championships. This was a solid clash of styles, with the high-paced Axiom & Nathan Frazer facing Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson of The O.C. Axiom & Frazer would retain after Frazer hit a Phoenix Splash onto Anderson.

** The NXT Underground match between Shayna Baszler and Lola Vice was up next. UFC fighters Khalil Rountree and Brandon Moreno were shown in attendance before the match.

This was an entertaining ‘fight’ between the two former MMA competitors, who largely made the holds and strikes look good. Lola Vice would prevail by referee stoppage after a contest that spilled around the ringside area.

** The NXT North American Championship Triple Threat match was fourth on the card, with Oba Femi defending against Wes Lee and Joe Coffey. More UFC representation was on show before the bell as the camera showed Merab Dvalishvili and Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin.

The match began with Lee and Coffey teaming up briefly to take out the much larger Femi. The big man was soon back in the ring, though, suplexing both opponents at once, and then hitting some excellent-looking power spots.

Unsurprisingly, the rest of Gallus appeared and took out Femi, but Joe Coffey was unable to capitalize, and Femi quickly got back into the action. The champ retained after a pop-up powerbomb on Coffey. This was an excellent triple-threat match, with Femi continuing to impress.

** The semi-main event saw NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez take on TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, with the NXT title on the line. Grace’s power advantage was on display from the bell, as she shrugged off much of Perez’s offense in the early going.

Perez would even things up with a thumb to the eye, followed by a prolonged attack on Grace’s left arm. At some point early on, Grace legitimately sustained a cut, seemingly to her right ear.

Tatum Paxley appeared at one point and attempted to make off with the TNA title. She was stopped with an appearance by Ash By Elegance but the distraction seemed to be enough to allow Perez to retain with the Pop Rocks. Grace was booked very strongly here.

** Before the main event, Wes Lee was attacked backstage by Gallus.

** Trick Williams vs. Ethan Page headlined the show. Page started strong, including blasting Williams into the steel ring steps. The match was not the best on the show, and clocked in at around 10 minutes. After Page put Williams through the announce desk, he got the challenger back into the ring and hit a crucifix bomb. However, Trick’s first defense was successful as he managed to nail the Trick Shot.

Sexyy Red joined the party in the ring as the show ended.
